November 2013 - Back in the Swing

 
Would you believe that September and October were so hot that we curtailed most of our normal activities in favour of slouching about and doing nothing in particular.

November at last brought some cooler temperatures so we began to take some exercise again.

Yoga Classes were the first things to take part in and boy did we realize how much we had missed them. Our teacher (Chris) looks after us and those of us who are not in the first flush of youth (i.e. most of us) are allowed to take it easy until we are fully warmed up.

We enjoy the sessions which last about two hours including a guided relaxation at the end. Due to Gymnastics in my teenage years I retain a large amount of flexibility and upper body strength so don't struggle as much as most in the Group. Loss of a few inches of girth would distinctly help however.

After a few weeks of the exercises it is getting easier and the joints are able to respond once more.
